The Lord-Lieutenant, Mr Andrew Try, attended Hungerford Town Hall for the presentation of the Freedom of the Town Awards. The ceremony, hosted by the Mayor of Hungerford, brought together councillors, community organisations, families and residents to recognise those who have made an exceptional contribution to the life of the town.

The Freedom of the Town is the highest civic honour that Hungerford Town Council can bestow. It acknowledges individuals whose sustained voluntary service, leadership, and commitment have enriched the wellbeing of the community.

The Lord-Lieutenant extends warm congratulations to this year’s recipients and sincere thanks to all who continue to give their time, energy and care in service of the town.
