Dr Stefan Fafinski DL

Stefan Fafinski is a senior public lawyer and Parole Board Chair, specialising in prison and public law.

He has undertaken many years of voluntary service in the charity and education sectors. Stefan is Chair of Prior’s Court Foundation in West Berkshire - a national centre of excellence providing education and residential care for autistic young people with complex needs - and Chair of The Inside Out Trust, which provides practical support to individuals under Probation Service supervision. He previously served a seven-year term as Chair of the WCIT Charity, which advances digital inclusion, education and technology for social good across the UK.

In 2025 Stefan was appointed to the Community and Voluntary Service Honours Committee, part of the UK Honours system. A Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and a Freeman of the City of London, he maintains strong civic, charitable and judicial links across Berkshire and the City.
