HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor to mark its 45th Anniversary.
During the visit, Her Royal Highness was given a tour of the specialist facilities, which boast 18 consulting rooms, 78 patient beds and four operating theatres, including three laminar flow theatres.
The Duchess also viewed the full range of diagnostic equipment available to patients, including cutting-edge CT and MRI technology and visited the children’s ward at the hospital.
The visit concluded with a plaque unveiling to mark the hospital’s 45th anniversary in addition to presenting Jane Pages, Clinical Nurse Specialist with flowers to mark 35 years of service at the hospital.
