The Commonwealth War Graves Commission was delighted to welcome Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal to its head office in Maidenhead in her first visit as its new President.

The Princess Royal was welcomed by the Commission’s Director General, Claire Horton CBE, and met with staff and volunteers who help to care for Commonwealth War Graves in the UK and around the world.

Following a tour of the headquarters at Marlow Road, Her Royal Highness unveiled a plaque to commemorate the visit.
