The Lord Lieutenant was delighted to officially open MCFT’s new Technical Academy in Theale last week. MCFT is an independent business focused solely on service and maintenance of commercial kitchens – with technicians attending sites around the country to fix cookers, fridges, dishwashers etc. In an industry faced with a declining and aging workforce, MCFT has taken the proactive step to set up its own training centre. The latest iteration in a journey which started 20 years ago, that has seen continuous development. With the goal to attract, nurture and develop the next generation of technicians. MCFT’s team welcomed several leaders of industry from throughout Berkshire for the opening ceremony on Monday 12th February.
